The International Review of Bipolar Disorders (www.irbd.org), is an opportunity for European Psychiatrists to meet face to face on an annual basis, and provides the perfect extension of the activity of the European Bipolar Forum. IRBD is now the largest annual conference in Bipolar Disorders. The 2011 event saw the attend- ance of 60 leading speakers and 1500 dele- gates from 46 countries.
IRBD has an extensive and esteemed group of advisors who help to steer the conference and ensure that the content is topical, accurate and timely.
Programme leadership comes from Dr Elie Hantouche, Conference Chair and Prof Jean- Michel Azorin, Conference President. In addition, the 2012 conference has a local organising committee comprising Prof JF Allilaire (Paris), Prof D Pringuey (Nice) and Dr PH Robert (Nice)

We are delighted to welcome you to the “1st Istanbul – Eurasian Congress of Biological Psychiatry” to be held in Istanbul on 27 – 31 May 2012.

The field of Biological Psychiatry is rapidly evolving in different fronts such as scientific research and clinical application; while ranging from early ages in childhood to later years in the adult life span. We will have an opportunity to evaluate and discuss developments, as well as initiate new scientific collaboration in Biological Psychiatry. We have the pleasure to inform you that the 2nd EPA Academia Summer School on Comorbidity between mental and physical disorders and disabilities will be organised on 5-8 July 2012 in  Strasbourg, France, under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr Thorbjørn Jagland.

The Summer School is tailored for psychiatrists and other medical specialists interested in the topic who are within or 2 years after specialisation. Up to 25 best applications will be selected by the Jury and will receive a Scholarship from EPA to attend the Summer School.
