Published Categorised as Courses

Our objective is to promote clinical research on Mental Health in Portugal. For this reason, the award will support and distinguish clinical research projects by young psychologists, psychiatrists, family doctors, neurologists and other professionals in this area, in conjunction with the United States. It is important to support research that aims to increase the quality of life of patients, at a time when the needs around Mental Health are even more evident.

Key research areas for the 2021 edition:

In this first edition, FLAD preferred not to close the field of investigation to a particular group or specific pathology. The focus is on the development of new clinical approaches, which can range from prevention to treatment and rehabilitation. The idea is that these approaches translate into a better understanding of the impact of different factors – biological, life experiences, family history, epidemiology, among others – on the development of mental disorders.
