The National Institute of Health Doutor Ricardo Jorge (INSA), through its Department of Health Promotion and Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases and under the FCT RESEARCH4COVID Program, is carrying out a study to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health and well-being of healthcare professionals, other first-line professionals, citizens in social distancing, quarantine or isolation.
For this study, within the scope of the Mental Health Project in Times of Pandemic (SM-COVID19), INSA has the collaboration of the Institute of Environmental Health (ISAMB) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) and the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health (SPPSM).
Data will be collected by questionnaire and treated with complete confidentiality. It is intended that the results of the study can contribute to the improvement of responses to the mental health problems of populations.
